The Battle of the Nile was a great naval combat fought between the British Royal Navy and the Navy of the French First Republic, in Abu Qir Bay, on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt from August 1 to 3, 1798.
The base of the diorama measures approximately 15.75×11.81×2 inches, and is made from particle board. It also features two laser cutout parts for the individual ships to rest in. The ships measure about 9 inches in length.
The Battle of the Nile Diorama kit contains the wood for the base, laser cut boards for each ship and fittings in wood and metal. It also contains paper flags for each of the boats and an instruction booklet detailing the process in multiple languages. The materials to make the “water” along with any needed paint, glue and tools are sold separately.
